Improving Website Accessibility

The accessibility and W3C Web Design and development
standards we work to are very high indeed. We follow the strictest standards laid down by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the World Accessibility Initiative's (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Every project we deliver, no matter how small, we follow the strictest of W3C guidelines. All new projects will at the very least pass automated AAA (highest level) accessibility test.
It is a standard part of our service and we don't even charge extra for it!

On each new project, we look to help and guide both design and technical teams through the 'best approach' to not only delivering a asthetically pleasing design and fully functioning site, but delivering a robust, scalable and usable site.

Every project is tested through a host of user environments (PCs, Macs, assistive-technologies and text based browsers), ensuring that the Disability Discrimination Act's (DDA) and Disability Rights Commission's (DRC) criteria is fully met as well as the client's targets.

Our design templates are built using the strictest XHTML (1.0 Strict XHTML or 1.1 XHTML) specifications with visual styles handled through CSS.

We do not wish for our clients to have to worry about accessibility issues and dealing with long checklists of dos and don'ts. That's our job!
